N.A.E

We are a formation of collaboration. Two of the regions most reputable programs - Blades of Steel and North Legacy Warriors, have combined spring programs to bring you  Northern Alberta Elite. Simply the best spring hockey program in the North Peace.

We will be aiming to offer Spring teams from 2008 - 2014 born athletes in the spring 2022 season. Our program will be positioned to bring your players Major and Minor level competition and development to build your players skill and competition levels to raise their individual and team play.

 Try outs are offered over Christmas break. This allows us months in advance to prepare, plan and coordinate as individual teams for the spring season ahead. 

Try outs will include four evaluated ice sessions per age group. The fee will also include an N.A.E try-out jersey.

After the four ice sessions, your player will be reviewed  under 3 possible outcomes.

1. NAE Major Team Placement

2. NAE Minor Team Placement

3. No Placement this year

What determines this? 

1. Number of kids at tryouts

2. Determined team fit and level of skill/compete

3. Overall ability of compete at each level for each age group

Please do not get discouraged if your player doesn't make the team you or they hope for. N.A.E 's intent is to continually develop and push each athlete to push their individual bars to strive for the best they can bring. Sometimes this means competing where is best for their development in a certain year. Competition for all major/minor spots will renew each year.

 Typically the spring hockey season will run from mid to end of March through until mid to end of May.; depending on tournaments. 

Inclusions in year 1 fees will be Team Hoodie and shorts. When you Represent N.A.E you need to be N.A.E. This is part of developing the winning culture we are striving for!
